    Soft close slides
Thank you for your quick response with my order. I installed these slides in our kitchen cabinets. When I pull out the drawers there is resistance for the first 2 " or so, than they slide out very easy. I looked over the instructions regarding this issue, but nothing noted. I'm hoping the slides just need to be broken in. I'm not sure what's going on. If anyone has any advice, I'd like to here form you. Neither my wife or I are happy with the amount of force we have to apply to open the drawers. They close very easy and the self close works nicely. Thanks, Ken OVIS Response: This is how all soft close drawer slides work. They have a spring that has to pull the damper closed once the drawer hits the damper, otherwise the drawer would never close automatically, it would hit the damper and stop.
